Havalon Knives Announces NEW Schrimshaw-Style
Hunting Knife: Piranta-Predator "Cougar"

Havalon releases third design in three-part series of replaceable blade hunting and skinning knives.

CINCINNATI, October 22/Havalon Knives/-The Piranta-Predator “Cougar” joins the Piranta-Predators “Timber Wolf” and “Grizzly Bear” in a series of innovative, replaceable-blade hunting knives with handsome scrimshaw-style, laser-etched, stain resistant, ABS plastic handles.

All three knives feature art from renowned scrimshaw artist Linda Karst Stone. Ms. Stone has been a scrimshaw artist for over thirty years and typically designs one-of-a-kind collectibles. Havalon Knives is proud to have Ms. Stone create the artwork for their three-part Piranta-Predator series.

The “Timber Wolf” was released in February 2008, followed by the “Grizzly Bear” in July 2009. The Piranta-Predator “Cougar” made its debut in late September 2009, rounding out the collection that features North America’s most deadly predators on knives that never need sharpening.

Practical uses for the Piranta-Predator line include caping, skinning and taxidermy detailing, as well as meat preparation. The Piranta-Predator has an open back for easy cleaning. Ambidextrous thumb studs, a liner lock and a pocket clip make the Piranta-Predator easy to open and a cinch to carry. The overall length of the knife is 7 1/4 inches. Each knife comes with twelve additional 60XT blades, and more are available in boxes of twelve or one hundred from Havalon Knives.

No more sharpening means less time field dressing. Never lose your edge with the Piranta series. And get home faster after a successful hunt.
